About Echoes from a gentle past
Echoes from a Gentle Past is my debut album – my personal take on Space Music. Rooted in the sounds of 1970s Berlin School and Progressive music, the album fuses these classic influences with modern ambient and electronica. Recorded between 2021 and 2024, the album emerged from a spontaneous, direct approach using plenty of analog gear, including my custom modular synth.
The album received great feedback: In 2022, WEGA was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Schallwende Awards, and in 2024, Echoes from a Gentle Past ranked 8th as Best National Album. It was released on Groove Unlimited.
